Since
2006 the Adderbury Morris men have celebrated May Day - when they
haven't been invited to dance in Oxford - by turning up at 6.30 a.m. to dance next to the statue of Banbury's
Fine Lady. An appropriate gesture as she is modelled on the idea
of a May Day celebrant scattering fower petals as she rides
